The Gifting Hub
The Brief:
To create a storefront and landing zone for the PPC team to drive traffic to focused on gifts to kids during the holiday season. The focus was on certain keywords identified to be highly searched terms that also aligned with our brand offerings.
I worked with the writer on my team and brand leads to create a cohesive experience for consumers doing their holiday shopping.
Learnings:
After launching pre-black Friday, I regrouped with the PPC and brand teams to understand how the ads and storefront performed. We identified under performing pages and made small adjustments to optimize what the customer sees first upon landing. Even though I hypothesized that the more designed modules leading to sub-pages should lead, we found that consumers were not making it to those sub-pages. Instead, the gifting hub gained traction when the shoppable modules and easy add to cart modules were highlighted above the fold upon landing. We hope to use the hub as a landing page for future seasonal gift giving opportunities.
