The PROBLEM

Create a menu using the newly launched brand standards that can bridge the transition from family-centric restaurant to BWW sports-bar roots with a younger demographic. It must highlight the signature menu items and drive sales to certain categories.

The SOLUTION

Our team created three designs; of the options presented, my solution was chosen for the simple tab navigation style. The look and feel is consistent with the updated visual brand standards and leans towards a more masculine, bar aesthetic. The vessel is a metal board with a screw post system to easily change out tabs as the menu evolves seasonally. A menu engineer helped us to decide what menu items to highlight based on profitability and calories while considering what BWW signature items are and rate highly with guests. We utilized the dead space on the back of pages to highlight important menu items through craveworthy photography.

We recommended engraving their new brand assets like the winged buffalo and updated logo to activate the space on the menu boards.

CAN YOU HANDLE IT?

We worked through creating a new heat scale to accompany the menu and better guide the guest through picking their sauces. It needed to be easy to understand at a quick glance and utilize their new firey buffalo illustrations.
